Must be ateast 15 years old to start this course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Driver&#8217;s Ed course can be taken online or in a classroom setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ProRoadmaster Driving School offers an <a href=\"https:\/\/proroadmasters.com\/?page_id=742\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/proroadmastersonline.com\/signup\/index.asp?secure=1&amp;\">online DMV certified Driver\u2019s Ed course.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After passing the course, you\u2019ll receive a certificate of completion (the \u201cPink Slip\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Written Test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you have completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/proroadmasters.com\/?page_id=742\">Driver&#8217;s Education course<\/a>, it now time to head to your local California DMV office to take the written knowledge test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The test consists of 48 questions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot miss more than 8 questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you pass the written test, you\u2019ll receive your learner\u2019s permit (provisional instruction permit).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Provisional Instructor Permit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The provisional instructor permit is obtained the same day you pass the written test. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring all necessary documents and fees to the DMV office so you can get your permit with no issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the details on your permit before leaving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Driving Lessons and Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you have your provisional instructor permit, you are now ready to sign up for your <a href=\"https:\/\/proroadmasters.com\/?page_id=193\">behind-the-wheel driving lessons<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign up with a DMV certified driving school to take the mandatory six hours of professional driving lessons required by the state of California (usually in 2-hour blocks). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ProRoadmaster Driving School is a DMV certified driving school that offers <a href=\"https:\/\/proroadmasters.com\/?page_id=193\">driving lessons across the San Joaquin County.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your instructor will sign your permit after your first lesson, allowing you to practice with a licensed adult (at least 25 years old) who has a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, complete at least 50 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours at night.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you complete your 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a DMV certified driving school, you will be issued a certificate of compleation by your driving school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: Driving Test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you\u2019ve met the criteria and held your permit for at least six months from the date you received your permit, you\u2019re eligible for the behind-the-wheel driving test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule your test with your local DMV. Keep in mind that most DMV offices are booked out a few weeks ahead. Call atleast a month ahead of time to get your desired date and time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring all necessary documents to the DMV office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6: Driver\u2019s License<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pass the driving test, and the DMV will issue an interim California driver\u2019s license (valid for 90 days).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your provisional driver\u2019s license will be mailed to you within those 90 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to restrictions during the first 12 months:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No driving between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No passengers under 20 years old (unless accompanied by a licensed driver over 25).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptions apply for emergencies and school\/work-related needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, obtaining a driver&#8217;s license is a huge life achievement, it is also a privilage, not a right.
